AE86 燃料タンク降ろしました ― 2012/04/11 20:14

先日、86のエンジンが始動しなくなりました。　燃料ポンプの音がしないので多分、燃料ポンプが逝ったと推測。
リフトで上げてタンクごと外しました。

で、燃料タンクを外してみるとスゴイことなってます。ガソリンは変色し、サビがびっしり...。　これでは単にポンプ交換では済まなくなりました。

外したポンプも見事なサビが....。

とりあえず、ドレンを緩めてガソリンを抜きます。　ドレンを外したところ、一気に出て溢れてしまいました。ヤバ、火気厳禁。

ガソリンを抜いた状態　本当に酷い。ちなみ抜けたガソリンは18Ｌ位、ナンバー無しにして約10年。

燃料残量センサーもこんな状態。　

サンドブラストしてサビを落としました。

ポンプは交換するので外し、ブラストしました。
残るはタンク本体。どうするか、内部が複雑な構造なのできちんとブラストするには切開するしかない。　それともケミカルでサビを落とすか....。
どうしましょか？
